Cornell's greatest fencer and a tremendous US Olympian in an era when that was a rarity in fencing - a huge loss.
Cornell Athletics mourns the loss of Hall of Famer Richard Pew '55. A two-time Eastern Intercollegiate champion, a team co-captain, and 1956 Olympian. His fourth-place finish in Melbourne remains one of the best in US Olympic History. Forever a Big Red legend.

An amazing project that has enriched our understanding of strike activity in the U.S.! Thanks to all who have worked on the tracker, particularly our excellent team of graduate and undergraduate students who have made it work!
Relatedly, it is also the 4th year anniversary of the day this project launched! We wanted to thank everyone who has supported this project over the past 4 years and we look forward to continuing to amplify the voices of striking and protesting workers for years to come.
