Labor unrest is rising across CT, from Cummins walkouts to a three-week Pratt & Whitney strike. In CT Post, Professor Johnnie Kallas says, “...unions and workers are more frequently using strikes to secure gains, rather than just as a last resort.”

Farm labor laws vary by state. In Illinois, no one under 12 can work on a farm unless it’s their family’s. Kids 10+ can work during school breaks/after hours, and 12+ during school hours on a family farm. Hear Professor LeRoy's thoughts here:
