agents work best when you can articulate the exact code change and constraints. seniors do that. juniors describe behavior instead my theory is the acceptance gap is basically that difference made visible.
Experienced workers are more likely to accept agent-generated code. This flips usage patterns of prior AI tools—including tab autocompletion, which has higher accept rates among less experienced workers (3/n)

excited seeing Waymo expand service but what im really waiting for is when I can take it to go surf at pacifica or climb at castle rock
Now beginning to offer fully autonomous freeways rides in SF, LA, and PHX! Express interest in the Waymo app to be one of the first in the world to relax on freeways with no one behind the wheel. More about this and our SF Bay Area expansion at https://t.co/6cnm1PirMo

awesome write up on what it's like to work at Cursor with a special shoutout to Fausto for keeping us fed every day
I spent the last 60 days working at Cursor. It's been one of the most thrilling phases of my professional life. There's a lot of mystique around the company. Over the last two months, some things matched my expectations; many did not. I wrote an essay for @joincolossus

embedding large codebases is nontrivial and expensive, but critical for enabling agents to retrieve and reason about code context one of many optimizations Cursor makes for massive repos
Semantic search improves our agent's accuracy across all frontier models, especially in large codebases where grep alone falls short. Learn more about our results and how we trained an embedding model for retrieving code.

I asked all of the SOTA models to implement Cursor credit codes for this event, and they were all functional, but GPT-5 was the only model that had an implementation free of race conditions. Come through to get free cursor credits, coffee, and say hi!
We're booking out a cafe on October 21st in Soho Grab coffee, Cursor credits, co-work, and meet the team Let me know if you'd like to come by

I don’t bother reporting bugs for stuff @shaoruu built because every time I do he’s already fixed it and tells me to pull main

it’s a beautiful thing to spend all day using Cursor to build Cursor. when I branch off main and find a bug it’s usually already fixed, someone else hit it first while doing the exact same thing.
Cursor is one of the only apps nowadays where it’s obvious that they’re dogfooding it and testing it. almost every single app and website have the most obvious UX problems and it’s really clear no one’s testing their stuff so it’s really a breath of fresh air.

🚀 Huge life update. @getkoala_com has been acquired by @cursor_ai. I just couldn't be more excited to keep building with my co-founders and friends @tidocarriero and @mshwery. Going back to my roots in dev tooling and... guess what.. Analytics! https://t.co/n7s8XG5x5d
