@ValleyLinkRail Valley Link is seeking to create their own hydrogen via electrolysis in Tracy and are seeking legislation, SB 746, to enable them to recoup the losses from expensive H2 tech by selling excess H2. Almost feels like this whole rail project is an excuse for this H2 facility.

Now I’m even more annoyed that the Caltrans interchange project spent tons of money on pavement & palm trees for the racetrack entrance road instead of extending the Gilman cycletrack. What a waste.
#DEVELOPING: It’s the end of an era for Northern California horse racing. Golden Gate Fields will permanently close after its final racing date later this year.

More bike racks from @forms_surfaces, this time installed around the new Bay37 development in @CityofAlameda. Dear cities: Please stop allowing developers to use these racks. I recommend making visible mounting hardware a design requirement for all public bike parking installs.
🙄Looks like we’re doing this again… 1) Don’t use or purchase/install bike racks w a design that hides the mounting hardware. 2) Don’t use or purchase/install bike racks w a narrow “foot” or bottom profile that can be used as a fulcrum like this.
