I am demanding that @USDA @SecRollins use the contingency funding already appropriated by Congress to ensure that food benefits go out next month to the over 1 million people in Massachusetts who rely on SNAP to put food on the table.
After cutting $186B+ from SNAP, Republicans shut down the government and put food assistance at risk for 42M Americans. Congress provided funding for exactly this kind of emergency. Sec. Rollins must use those funds and legal authority to ensure benefits can go out in November.
