Great to be threre. Still thinking about @carly_ycec figures relating to young carers doing over 50hrs work a week.
Particular thanks to the two young adult carers who so powerfully talked about their experiences the many missed opportunities for them to be identified and to receive support. @AlisonEBennett @CharlotteCane8 @ChrisVinceMP @CarersTrust @carly_ycec @JohnBangs15 @abigaildunnpsy (2).

📢Fantastic to get our results into the world . A brief online course can reduce the risk of intergenerational transmission of anxiety. @UoSPsychD @AnxietyUK.
Good news today! 🧵. Anxiety often runs in families. BUT we found that an online, self-delivered intervention for anxious parents can make this happen less. A huge thank you to the @Kavlifondet and the 1811 families who helped us find this out. ⬇️.

How can we understand the benefits of intervention if we don't consider the potential impact on the wider family. Add a child outcome measure to understand if treating the adult has an effect on their child. @dmcdaid.
This is a call to action to *adult* mental health trialists. Next time you're starting an RCT of any treatment (we're not fussy) for any adult MH condition (we're really not fussy), give us a shout, and maybe between us, we can start to put this right.
