Ayam gepuk ni resepi orang malas sebab simple. Pastu makanan plebs je kat Indo. Masuk Mesia jadi exotic konon, caj sampai RM16. Nasi kerabu ayam panggang lagi intricate dari segi rasa dan preparation dia. Beli kat acik tepi jalan baru RM8.

I am reminded of something said by my Malaysian Studies prof at uni - that Malay culture is no longer practiced. A lot of Malays have lost their cultural identity, appropriating Arabic culture instead. Someone should start a movement to preserve it, lest it be lost forever.
