Personal rule of thumb: Disregard people who shame you for working more than they prefer.

I have the ability to work from home 100% of the time due to my tenure and production but CHOOSE to go in the office MINIMUM 3 days a week. I pack my calendar those days with lunch meetings, networking etc. Do NOT fall into the trap of staying home! You will fall behind.
