Monogamy is not natural for men. Statistically only 20-30% of men have ever reproduced, while 80-90% of women have reproduced. Women were always sharing kings and discarding the surfs. This is the same today, all capable men have multiple women. Betas settle with one

If you’re reading history trying to find the ‘truth’ about a subject, you’re doing it wrong.

FDR was a shit president and the closest America has ever come to a dictator. -He was the only U.S. president to serve more than two terms and literally had to die in office to leave it. Term limits were literally added because of him. Previously, it was just a respected.

The greatest threat to our republic is not that the constitution has been overrun, but that our people are uninformed, inflamed to rage by bad actors. You have the ability (collectively) to demand better of your institutions. That is the American dream in a nutshell.

One of my favorite Xenophon anecdotes is the moment when he and his men pass the ruins of Nineveh and ask the locals who used to live there, and the locals don’t know. Blows my mind that massive cities lay there, abandoned, and nobody had a clue who the Assyrians were.
