Truly grotesque that Western media sound more shocked that 60 Israeli soldiers in a military base were injured in a strike from the country they invaded than when tens of thousands of very young children were killed in Gaza, hundreds by sniper shots to the head

I wrote about the many ways that Israel has made trauma a weapon of war. About how this exploitation betrays the victims of the past. And creates many more victims in the present. It was hard to write. It will be hard to read. I hope it helps.

A year later, memorials to the 7 October attacks use art, virtual reality and dark tourism to stir support for limitless violence. But there is a different way to remember

NYT does it again. A barely-english sentence about Israel bombing another country that doesn’t mention Israel.

Astonishing front page 8 Israeli soldiers' deaths is a headline, whilst an Israeli strike on a school for orphans in Gaza City and Israel's recent killing of 1400 in Lebanon are ignored Some lives matter more for newspapers like The Times https://t.co/WewHsbE1Ld

Permit me some wild speculation: saying everything is a disaster, and you only have more misery to offer, isn’t very smart for a government just elected on a platform of ‘change’. Starmer and Reeves have *really* screwed up.

We've been campaigning for months for the government to block ultra-fast fashion brand Shein - accused of making used of forced labour in its supply chains - from listing on the London Stock Exchange. Instead, they've supported Shein. I wonder why...

Media organisations which fail to call this an Israeli INVASION of Lebanon are in fact guilty of pro-Israel propaganda. It’s not journalism. It’s propaganda.

Torn between not wanting to freeze pensioners to death and doing what’s best for their political careers, Labour MPs voted to freeze pensioners to death but tearfully.
Am told there were several Labour MPs in tears in the voting lobbies when voting for the winter fuel changes this afternoon.

Our MPs will be holding Labour to account and voting against scrapping the winter fuel allowance. We promised to push them to make the correct decisions and we stand by that promise.

Labour are gambling being cruel to trans people won't create a huge outrage because there aren't enough trans people to speak out & make a difference. But the way they treat one minority group is a demonstration of how they'll treat any of us for Daily Mail fodder eventually.
