I would rather DIE than have someone ever tell me “you wouldn’t have that if it wasn’t for me”.

SEVENTY EIGHT. That’s the number of verified child sex-trafficking victims who were groomed and recruited out of Ron DeSantis’ state-run foster care in 2021. ZERO. That’s how many were recruited from Drag shows. Guess who’s being investigated. https://t.co/XeodO889qn

In 2015, when the Supreme Court recognized the Constitutional right to marriage equality, I said that progress often comes in small increments. Then there are days when slow, steady effort is rewarded with justice that arrives like a thunderbolt. Today is one of those days.

Not people calling others “illegal” as they fondly recall their last name is spelled the way it is because their great-grandpa came to the US with the equivalent of a misspelled post-it note 🥴🥴🥴

I don’t have a Biden flag. Don’t have Biden pants, a Biden dress or a Biden cape. I don’t need to camp out in a field for 5 days eating questionable egg salad out of a cooler waiting for Biden to speak. I don’t do any of that shit because I’m not an idiot & I’m not in a cult.

BREAKING: Elon Musk has terminated his deal to buy Twitter, which is shocking because I didn’t think he knew how to pull out of anything.

3,450 pounds of garbage were left behind on Lake Tahoe after 4th of July weekend, which is over twice the haul from the year before. "Patriotic" Americans leaving behind thousands of pounds of trash for environmentalists to clean up is a perfect metaphor for our country's future.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is a perfect example of why we need to invest in education more.

I don't understand why Kavanaugh couldn't just go to another state to eat? Why did he allow himself to get hungry in the first place? 🤔

If you’re appalled that protestors yelled outside a restaurant where Brett Kavanaugh was eating and find that to be uncivil, wait until you hear about the 10 year-old girl who had to travel to Indiana for medical care because Ohio wouldn’t permit her safe access to an abortion.

I've seen hundreds of tweets about telling women to stop having sex if they don't want to get pregnant but I've seen zero calls for men to become celibate. It will never cease to amaze me how little men are blamed for getting someone pregnant. This is about control and patriarchy

Them: Abortion is bad! Adopt! “How many kids have you adopted?” Them: We’re not in a place where we can adopt. Our situation is too complicated to bring a child into our home. “So, you made a careful choice that makes sense for your family.” Them: Yes! Exactly. Thank you. 🙄

There are over 120,000 children eligible for adoption in the United States right now and more than 400,000 in the foster care system. So, when I see pics of these conservative married couples holding a sign that says “Don’t abort — we’ll adopt your baby”… I just don’t buy it.

This constant pretending that miscarriages or pregnancies with health complications are somehow so uncommon they aren’t even worth discussion is not only factually incorrect, but harmful. You know someone who has miscarried. You know someone who has terminated a pregnancy.

NEW: Vice President Kamala Harris just said Clarence Thomas “said the quiet part out loud” when he said the court should now go after gay marriage, birth control, and the basic right to privacy. “This is not over. He just said the quiet part out loud. This is profound.”

Either have separation of church & state, or don’t. You wanna review case law based on “morality” clauses, start sending the churches a tax bill.

It’s also bizarre that we’re setting precedents based on “morality” when the standard “morality” theories come from, Christianity, a religion not practiced by every American. In fact, in the most recent polls, America has far less practicing Christians in it that it ever has.

Also. I don’t want to hear anymore commentary about what our founding fathers would’ve wanted/meant. They literally didn’t believe that 3/4 of our current population counted as people so maybe they weren’t exactly experts on anything & it’s weird to me more people don’t see that.
