#mathschat Do any other school use digital notebooks for learners, rather than physical books? We use OneNote as a department and love it, but wondering how you successfully evidence marking / feedback so it’s easy to locate. Not the same as flicking through a book as … (1/2)

We ran various activities throughout the day on Friday (3.14) to celebrate Pi Day, one of those being a Pi-recital competition! Our winner of this years recital, correctly reciting 157 digits of pi 🤩👏🏼🏆 sensational! Ardderchog Hao jin! @crickhowellhs @crickmaths

Thought I’d play around with how I teach simplifying surds this week to my Year 10s as I am tired of learners not loving the topic! Linking it to prime factor trees, but square factor trees and it has worked so well - I am late to this party! Da iawn Blwydden Deg 🤩👏🏼

Always my favourite thing to include in my introduction lesson to converting recurring decimals to fractions! Start off with asking them a true or false question, and end by proving the majority wrong algebraically 🤩
