That Kenyan babe said Rwanda was soulless and sad and we were rained upon by the gov antics, now a white dude has a video saying the same thing and I don't see the Rwandese going after him.
The Egyptians selling housing wares in Villages in Kenya, I still don't get them.
They crossed several countries to come be hawkers here? They are from a thriving economy to come be hawkers in a village in Nyamira? I really think there is more than we are seeing.
Met a Nigerian with a Kenyan passport again I ask is that document available to foreigners only?. I'm sure he got it through corruption and it made me wonder how infiltrating it is. We ask Kenyans from border communities to bring green chicken and blood just for an interview
It's going to night time, we have thousands of families displaced in Mathare and my heart goes to all the young mothers and children who don't know where they will sleep tonight as the govt is busy pretending like we are not going through a national crisis.
This must be a joke,
1. You should have released this a week ago
2. The entire country doesn't have twitter access
3. We have kids on the way to school right now, who is paying for them to go back home?
4. Are you aware kids and teachers were swept away?
The helicopters that should be doing rescue are carrying govt officials to somewhere now and the money that should have been used for infrastructure
@kipmurkomen
is busy buying watches and giving his friends any available bloated contract.
99% of the time i have trusted TL business i have ended up disappointed.
It seems I never learn, i referred someone and they now have to get corrective surgery and several follow ups because y'all favourite messed up.
One thing twitter has taught me is if you ever house hunt in Ruaka it better have a backup for electricity because KPLC has issues with that entire place.
A while ago someone was talking about how the partners in your life at times determine how your things go, i'e dating some people might mean most other things in your life going off and vice versa and i think that makes lot's of sense and cuts across both genders.
Talk to your friends and families working on supporting those who were affected by floods in Mai Mahiu, word has it that donations aren't reaching those affected and some 'officials' are diverting donations.
Generational curses left and right.
@waweru
I have friends ( a couple) who have emigrated to Canada last year ,,, they are in their 50s and they decided to go start over after selling a business, leaving jobs etc in Kenya.
MFA has alot of diplomats who are qualified for these positions and can bring some good additions to foreign missions but the government is focused on politicising and picking the least educated ones to take missions.
President Ruto’s nominee for the Consul General position in Goma, DRC, is being vetted.
He is a high school graduate.
He is called Charles Githinji Keiru.
It's noteworthy that in Kenya, holding a degree or a diploma is not obligatory for an ambassadorial role.
@MsWambaire
Platforms do exist but also it could start from where you are. It's only twitter were people act woke, in reality even your Nairobi neighbour likes this government
@kinjeketile
I once worked with a county to prepare a disaster management plan in relation to floods.
Once we submitted the report we were met with "na kusiliponyesha? Na isipoua watu, Gavana wants a new car and etc".
Anyway i believe that's how the gov operates
This is Bullshit and you know it but none of you can call it out.
Farmers didn't get the same quality of fertilisers that the president is getting and secondly how is it news that he is planting? This government is really doing everything not to benefit its citizens.
Your resignation letter should be 2 paragraphs.
The longer it is the more it shows you don't actually want to leave but you want them to beg you to remain.
Lol that restaurant caused food poisoning on 5 guys from my former workplace, lol I was the one who recommended they get food from hapo juu ya online adverts,,,,sema watu kukua na shida😭😭
He said he knows the people who were behind Garissa attack and other Al shabaab financiers and we have him as the CD defence ...he definitely gives some vibe
We once sat next to the Prime minister on a train ride without knowing and he asked us if we love the weather ( winter was starting) and he wished us a good rest of our trip,,,, when we aligned the person sitting behind us told us that's the PM 🤣🤣
The company came for benchmarking a few months ago as it tried to enter the Kenyan market with a visit to that hospital in Vihiga county (which i still wonder about it) and hosted by Julius Mwale and now they scored a contract.
How easy, don't we have Kenyan/Africa companies?
Nakuru used to be a model county, right now they are disconnecting patients in HDU and ICU in a facility all because the county and i believe with the blessings of the national govt want the land the hospital sits in, where did dignity go? Shameless.
Lol but every other time I see someone complaining about KQ with " I will never use it again" and they are mostly corporate tickets like babe please you will use KQ again because you ain't buying the ticket.
Hii app ndo mnalipishwa 3500 kuenda Ngong Hills when i was not happy paying 1200 kuenda Longonot.
Anyway Ngong Hills unaamka asubuhi kända unapanda mat za ngong n then get a bike and pay as you wait for them at the gate to hike together 🤔.
Why do we allow such as a public?
Picture 2 everyone who was around should have stopped it.
We humiliate our kids and bursaries are not from the MP's pocket so why do we have to thank them? It's the citizens right
I just remembered we "blamed" older folks and some even blamed lack of education for giving in to church demands and paying as much as possible during Pius Muiru's time. Fast forward to 2024 and we are giving money to a preacher live on tiktok so that he can bless/pray for us.
I'm going for a potluck dinner and I was asked to just bring rice ,,, came home and saw the video of Ombachi cooking vegetables rice n cow tongue and i thought why not,,, let's make the rice colorful 😊😊
@ElayneOkaya
I fully understand people leaving a tough situation. I'm struggling to understand how viable it is traveling to a remote village in Tanzania and selling kitchenware on credit works. Anyway hope things work out somehow for the country.
RSF has ethnically targeted and killed over 15,000 people in El Geneina. They are allegedly receiving military aid from UAE, Fuel from S. Sudan , Chad and enjoy good diplomatic relations with most IGAD member states. Makes one wonder if none of these supports care about Sudan.
I interacted with a Kenyan founded business thriving in Uganda and they said they tried running the same in Kenya but faced lot's of backlash from all quarters and they didn't even think twice they just moved.
Please go where your skills and expertise will be appreciated.
Read this tweet, now apply it across virtually every industry in Kenya. Doctors, researchers, logisticians, engineers, manufacturers... Wale "mahustler na mama mboga" the president keeps talking about ndio atabaki nao. There's a shocking level of exodus from Kenya.
My Uncle Alexander Kimakia.
After living in the United States for over 40 years, my Uncle Alexander Kimakia, at the age of 70, finally relocated back to Kenya this year, settling in his mega 5-bedroom house at Mushroom Gardens Estate along Kiambu Road, a project that took him
Nairobi is great as a transit town, it has an international airport and embassies.
If you ever have a chance to stay in another place rather than Nairobi please take it.
You see how we pretend to all be fighting Al shabaab? Some people protect them in Nairobi and actually sell out people when it comes to attacks within the country, now that's what is happening.
@beth_kasinga
I think we keep having unrealistic expectations from what surrounds us. If one really wants a baby shower they can throw it for themselves instead of waiting on 'friends'.
Interesting times,, 2 people apply for a short term position at a governmental body in East Africa, one of them is from an E.A country and the other one is from a Latin American country, guess who the governmental body took in.
In the responses they are insisting they were harassed because of the religion, which Nairobi photographer doesn't know some areas are protected?
That's ignorance and bringing religion into it is funny.
CBK is under the Protected Areas Act. It doesn't matter if you are Muslim or Mormon, kuhandwa nayo utahandwa! You can not plead "I didn't know" the Act (and all laws in Kenya) are freely available hata online, it is your duty to familiarise yourself with them.
The way LAPPSET hired only the children of who is who and the funding it received I wasn't expecting anything less from them, actually rem the NHIF saga? LAPPPSET is next.

1. The terror groups in the region are having "recruitment drives" with cells set up in new locations across most countries. This new surge could be in relation to the situation between Somalia and Ethiopia, Eastern DRC or global circumstances.
Nairobi housing is going through what Joho did in Mombasa, you give him a floor and you get approved to build as high as you want.
No concern for environmental protection, sewerage, laws governing construction etc. Chinese investors easily bribe and go ahead with building.
@kmainaj
Okay, so a little bit,,, Athi river is the second longest river in Kenya, it flows to Indian ocean as Sabaki river in Malindi.
You know fourteen falls right? that's Athi river. There is a dam that is being constructed across the river at the moment ( forgot the name)
@akams_
It be the 5 people who had no idea what the former did who be rehabilitating him. The current regime is bad and the former regime was also bad. As a country we deserve better.
It become even worse when the response from both governments is "we don't care" lot's of Kenyans operating in S.Sudan have often shared how hostile the environment is specifically for business people and we don't bother addressing it.
As a country, how we don't have a commuter train from Nairobi to Kisumu/Busia is sad. We can save a lot of lives, time and more if we had major cities train access.
Tanzania have shut down five hydroelectric stations in a bid to reduce excess electricity in the national grid.
It is the first time Tanzania, which suffers chronic power shortages, has closed hydroelectric stations due to excess production.
Alshabab has sleeper cells across Kenya which are actively recruiting and media houses should broadcast this to somehow contribute to educating young people against joining the terror group.
#Alshabaab
publicly executed seven militants including Kenyans for allegedly spying for Governments of
#Somalia
, Kenya &
#US
.
Kenyans in AlShabaab are targeted for elimination on trumped-up charges especially now that leadership wrangles are threatening to break the group.

Let's blame the government and blocking the creativity of the clothing industry 🙃. I mean why is everyone producing Maxi dresses and Palazzo pants ,,, we wanna show skin!!
They have been getting away with grave violations that international law should prevent but they have been cheered on with provision of more bombing materials and now here we are.
At this point every scammer has taken a picture with the president and is somehow linked to statehouse.
If you are a scammer and don't have said picture then you are probably not a serious one.
If you run a CBO working on ( peacebuilding efforts, youth engagements, environmental restoration, civic engagements etc) and looking for someone to review your proposals or any other support, i can offer those service for free.
Y'all think the pictures by Larry are bad, the video on Aljazeera about the flooding is BAADD and it has these aerial views about the destruction by floods across Nairobi. Can't see y'all calling out the other int'l journalist.
2 months ago i committed to learning how to skate and even joined a bandy team.
Yesterday we had a very important game to end the 'show'. As Springs start its time to find new experimental hobbies 😊😊.
Anyone else following the ICJ proceedings? It's interesting how loud we are as Kenyans but apparently our deal with the US makes our govt support Israel on this case and not SA.
Anyway looking forward to what will this case mean when it comes to global changes.
A Nigerian man hit me up with " what is your traditional name" then asked my Dutch friend what her name was.
I corrected him because my surname in Kenya has never been called 'traditional' and also somehow my Dutch friend's name didn't have the traditional concept? 🤣🤣
Wait a minute, this government pays bloggers upto 100k per 5 tweets to slander citizens concerns instead of addressing those concerns? I repeat beat your leaders and hold them accountable.
This study wasn't on general public but they conducted the experiments on African American men who were told they were receiving free health care from the government.
For 40 years the US fooled people into thinking they were studying their blood. The US was actually studying long term effects of untreated Syphilis while treatment was readily available. This was known as the “Tuskegee Experiment.”
I mean can we get a dedicated few minutes on updates on the region,,,but again we don't have clear websites that segment EAC "developing stories" and such.
Honestly crap from that guy and any tourist who thinks the same, also why can't they just go and enjoy the dollars in Zimbabwe or Uganda I mean the value is still great in those countries
Kenya should be comfortable for Kenyans to live in first. A weak shilling maybe good for tourists but it’s horrible for locals and we should learn a thing or two about what Hawaiians are going through with tourists 🤷🏾♂️
How many annual leave days do our parliamentarians get? And how do we pay for annual leave? I just learnt of shocking situations in Uganda and I really hope Africa is not a country because if the same is happening in Kenya then we need to beat them 🙃🙃.
