Can we talk about the terminology “cancer survivors”? It usually implies that people had curative, earlier stage cancers and are now living “life after cancer”. The rest of us are “cancer patients”. Sorry, not sorry, ppl w advanced cancers are survivors too.

Please cancer fundraisers, don’t organize events revolving around alcohol. Wine tasting, wine auctions etc etc. Alcohol is a carcinogen. Period.

My 2c. We cannot have for-profit healthcare. We should have cancer drugs at the federal pharmacare level. To do that would streamline YEARS in terms of timely and equitable access. Look hard at the parties’ platforms and where they stand on this.
