I tried to warn you. But I was gaslit in the replies when I gave this feedback.
I've noticed something. Recently, it feels like Webflow is being designed & built by people who don’t actually use Webflow. Sure, not everyone at Webflow needs to be a user, that’s fine. The issue is when the UX starts to reflect a disconnect – that’s what I'm noticing.

Earlier in my career, I worked at software companies like this. It's miserable. Truly, miserable. You're constantly oscillating between gaslighting dim-witted middle managers and high-fat high-sugar junk food. The reason they have all these "perks" is because they think it.

This is true with most trades or skills. The people doing the really hard stuff are too busy getting good at it to be teaching it. At least, that's what I've noticed.
Once you get to intermediate / advanced level in game development you start to see how there's very little tutorials on these topics and the internet is littered with beginner tutorials all teaching pretty much the same thing.

I agree. Real deisngers code. I've been saying this for years. There's no reason to use bad appromations of code (Figma, auto layout, etc) which mostly lead you to mistakes in logic, as the fundamentals are not correct. Not to mention, the problem with handoff.
If you’re working on a new product design project that’s more than 20 pages long, maintain, evolve, and design it directly in code. Design tools are far less efficient these days compared to the speed you can achieve with Claude Code, Cursor, or v0. Thank me later!.

I think every @Webflow user can attest to the fact that Webflow (particularly the designer) has become very slow/buggy over the last 12 months. We appreciate the new features etc, but they aren't much good if the app keeps grinding to a halt. Come on Webflow, you can do it!.

Pure evil. There is no justification, excuse or deniability for the direct or indirect harming of any children – no matter the nationality, the race, or the religion. Anyone who attempts to justify, excuse or deny the harming of these children is evil, morally vacant and worthy.
🚨 BREAKING: The Israeli army launched a direct strike on a kindergarten in Gaza while children were inside. The attack left several children injured, turning a place of safety and learning into a scene of terror.

Once again, we see why Figma is bad for web design. Design in code, understand the medium, and solve for the medium with an understanding of your customers and you're golden. Stop using Figma for web design. It's just doodling.
if a designer delivers a web design file with the new figma glass feature and expects me to build it, I'm out. the android devs are gonna be so upset.
