Unless MLS’ VAR has a lot better quality of video that is broadcast on feed, I’m not sure how anyone can claim that the contact was clear & obvious, as Wiebe suggests. And how the official can tell on that crappy sideline screen.
Feels like a safe prediction! Doing #InstantReplay has never been a popularity contest. It's basically a hate magnet, no matter which side you take on truly controversial decisions 🫣

No audio on this, but when the broadcast booth is saying where is the foul, I'm not sure it is clear and obvious the official got the call wrong. But I keep seeing video of the review record with phones, so here is the actual broadcast recorded.

Full stop, that was garbage. Absolutely ridiculous for the VAR check to even occur at 110’ much less it be called a penalty on Joyner and @stlCITYsc. This is an embarrassment for @mls.
