Notre Dame made 5 field goals this season (also missed a PAT in a one point loss). Oklahoma is 7-7 on 50+ yarders. Thats not the only reason OU maximized its opportunities this season and ND didn’t, but it’s a big one.

In the end, Notre Dame's fate was decided by the committee deciding it couldn't punish Bama (not a '25 opponent) for losing its title game ... while punishing BYU & UVA for losing theirs. I just want teams ranked. I don't want this overthought, artisanally crafted list of teams.
