He explained his delay during his speech, he’d just come from a Malcolm X street renaming in Harlem that ran late, you heard it because you were standing right next to him. They’re not campaign volunteers; they’re grassroots supporters acting on their own to back the Mayor.

Why is @ericadamsfornyc sending campaign volunteers to a street co-naming event that my office put together? Not only is he running one and a half hours late, but he’s politicizing an event that’s supposed to be for the family of someone who passed away.

Made my way back to Williamsburg to visit with some of the kids and their families who have been impacted by the Bedford Avenue bike lane. While we are working to improve safety, some are trying to stand in the way — but we're not losing focus of what's important: our children.

Gratitude to @NYCMayor and his incredible NYPD team for prioritizing the issue of illegal immigrants committing crimes. Rather than appreciating NYC's support, some abuse it. Taxpayers deserve safety and respect for our city. Let's ensure everyone upholds our values.
