I can NOT believe how many people I saw walk into a restaurant with a mask. Spend 2 hours with it off during dinner and then put it on to walk 15 seconds back out through and wide open walkway. 😂😂😂😂😂

If you order a lockdown in an effort to stop the spread of a virus, and then, 21 months later, you find yourself considering doing the same thing again for essentially the same virus, something has gone badly wrong. It was surely within our wit to prepare properly this time.

It's been more political than medical for a long time.....
Encouraging piece in Daily Mail by South African doctor who first alerted world to omicron. She says its symptoms generally very mild, even with no vax, and accuses PM Johnson of “hysteria”. If she is right - if - then perhaps latest UK measures are more political than medical.

Easy answer Except sceptic more fitting a term than denier
The government told us the vaccine was the route out of lockdown. We’ve had the first jab. And the second jab. People are queuing up for the booster. No one has said Omicron busts the vaccine. So was the government right. Or were the Lockdown Deniers right after all.
