Eight Sleep is incredible. when it works. I've had 2 and each has lasted a year-ish before breaking. Clearly an amazing team there, but I wish they'd spend a bit more time on the important but less marketing-friendly stuff - like the longevity of the actual product.

Henrik Karlsson may be the best new writer I know. He has near-superhuman powers of eloquence and perception, and if you arenโ€™t reading his Substack, itโ€™s time to change that. How does he do it? . Some answers:. 1. A blog post is a very long and complex search query to find

My ick is otherwise serious Americans saying 'I could care less' when it makes 0 sense and they should be saying 'I couldn't care less'.

jason rugolo had been hoping we would invest in or acquire his company iyo and was quite persistent in his efforts. we passed and were clear along the way. now he is suing openai over the name. this is silly, disappointing and wrong.

How to feel more connected. Going with 'that which is most personal is most universal' and sharing in case it's helpful to others.

Totally on board with AI being smarter than any living human already. and feel myself lose excitement to read something when I know it's been written by AI. Something in there.

Easy way to tell if someone is trying to bullshitting and/or not clear in their thinking: using the word 'utilise' when you could say 'use'.

There' a meme in startupland that building a personal CRM company is a dead end. But I think @ClayHQ have solved it. 6 weeks into using it - with some time investment getting all my contacts set up - and it's helping me feel more connected every day.

One low-trust employee can destroy your entire company culture. They' question your motives behind your back, create friction everywhere, and shift the default in others from trust to doubt. The best founders ruthlessly protect trust: screen for it, reinforce it, and cut out.

The "never do PoCs" advice in SaaS is wrong. Smart PoCs convert to ARR 80% of the time when you have clear success criteria, multi-threaded buy-in, and agreed long-term structure. Most PoC requests are just masking indecision or lack of authority - learn to spot the difference.
