I cannot tell you - it is literally impossible to convey - how much this photo means to me.

I don't know how the average parent is supposed to navigate the academy club scene in this country and not have an acronym-induced aneurism.

September was STACKED. Which of these are you streaming first? • Alice in Borderland S3 (Netflix) • Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black S2 (Netflix) • Task (HBO) • The Paper (Peacock) • The Lowdown (Hulu) What did you stream this month?

Huge dub for the greatest crest in all of American soccer.
@NapaValley1839 @SFVikingsSoccer #USOC2026 QR1: FINAL! @NapaValley1839 advance to the next qualifying round through 2 Uly Vega goals, as well as 1 each from Darion Pavon, Oscar Ortiz and Angelo Vivan. They await the draw this week to find out who their opponent is in 3 week's time.

Balo is the guy, he's the 9 for the cycle, best choice. I only revive this old clip because this is his purest form, and I do not trust us to use him well in WC conditions. We are bad in central service and this group really needs a hold-up option in the front.

And as far as sports microscopes go, the one that Pulisic et al "lives under" is about as unfocused as possible in American major sports. USMNT fans' expectations are so reasonable as to be limited to "step over this ankle-high bar and don't explode yourself please god."

This is all such a sideshow, who cares. This team's inability to follow Poch's vision, and Poch's root inability to implement it on the doorstep of hosting a World Cup, is what deserves an actual docu-series.
Christian Pulisic directly addresses why he chose to sit out the Concacaf Gold Cup this summer and his reaction to the fallout of that decision 👀

This is hilarious defensive spacing against a team with Messi in toddler clothes on the sideline. Liga MX can point fingers at MLS’s defensive spending but it’s the same league with like one extra spicy star added.

I still love the Masters winner from last year has to sit through a winner’s interview that throws their failures into sharp relief and then physically crown the new winner, I think we should be humiliating our top athletes more to be honest.

Super classy move by @CoachVic_UT to call out student journalists @Zachary_davis_ @annaambrose13 and @charliep_10 from the @thedailytexan for driving 16 hours each way to cover the @SEC tourney. Work hard, show up, treat people right!

You just felt this barreling toward you and thought it was maybe avoidable this time but it never was and Andy Reid thus haunts your dreams with Jake from State Farm and Fumberooski screams and Donna Kelce will make a Hallmark movie about your specific sadness

The only good thing Kaval has overseen in 15 years of sports management is one Earthquakes season from the absolute core of the Earth led by Chris Wondolowski and the two headcrackers from Mighty Ducks.
Athletics president Dave Kaval has announced that he will be stepping down. Kaval's last day with the team—which is in the process of building its new Las Vegas ballpark—will be December 31.

I'm like 17 years past caring about soccer being a second class sports citizen in the U.S. but Herbstreit responding to Michaels having not called a soccer game with a "good for you" made me rip off the side of my house.

It's wild to me that the current era of the CFP has put play-by-play commentators in the position of stumping for programs they feel might be left out of the playoff. Just a complete rewiring of the job description that would've felt completely out of place not long ago.

Messi's a pretty good GM.

I think a lot about Jozy's journey and his generation in Europe as Pepi's star rockets skyward. In many ways the mistakes of that era of USMNT stars are successes for this one. By the time Jozy got to AZ, his rep and confidence were in rehab. Were late to this but it's happened.
10 - Ricardo Pepi (21 years, 314 days) is the second-youngest player to score 10 competitive goals for the #USMNT (Christian Pulisic - 20 years, 288 days). Express.

These are all good and correct takes
@WillParchman For my money Keane is still the best player in MLS history. Messi is obviously the most dominant. Giovinco before him. Henry maybe the most talented. Donovan the most transcendent but, Keane was a freaking killer.
