Okay, this is legit funny.
99% of AI engineers on this app couldn’t train a linear regression without a Kaggle notebook and a prayer. The other 1% are pulling 500k+ at the big labs and haven’t tweeted since 2022. Stay mad, I guess.

I was really impressed with the @officialbiohub presentation at #NeurIPS2025. It was a good reminder to me of just how difficult it is to do fundamental biology research. I'm excited to see how advances in AI help in this area, and ultimately help cure diseases.

@tunguz imo XGBoost is AI lol I take your point though, and AI is a very nebulous term. But I don't think it takes away from my point. Whatever system the quote tweet referred to would be called AI even if ChatGPT didn't exist.

If you ever have the opportunity to listen to Magnepan speakers, you'll thank yourself. Planar magnetic speakers have a unique sound signature. The prices range into the stratosphere, but the LRS+ have a reputation for sounding like $20000 speakers for not much more than $1000.
@octonion I've got a pair of Magnepans. I like how they sound, but I'm not actively using them because they need more space than I want to give them.
