I received this mitral valve for severe MV stenosis. The patient had a history of rheumatic fever. You can see leaflet and cord fibrosis with cordal fusion due to the inflammatory response. #cardiopath #pathology @WPathassist @E_Heidi_Cheek @MelanieBoisMD
