1 patient rescued from the unit and has been transported to hospital by medics with critical injuries. Crews have extinguished fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation . One unit sustained damage and Red Cross will be contacted for impacted residents

Firefighters are on location of a structure fire in the 900 blk of 21st St NE in Auburn.

VRFA crews responded to a report of a residential fire in the 2800 blk of R Pl SE this morning. One patient was treated on scene. Three residents and a dog have been displaced and will be assisted by the Red Cross. The fire is now out. The cause is under investigation.

The rope rescue call occurred in the 15700 block of Auburn Black Diamond Road.

Firefighters located the patient and began patient treatment while other firefighters, specially trained in technical rescue used a rope system to lower 3 firefighters and a stokes stretcher to bring the patient topside.

Puget Sound Fire, Mountain View Fire & Rescue, VRFA, SKF&R, and KIng County Medic One responded to a to a motorcycle accident which resulted in the motorcyclist down a 200 foot ravine.

At approximately 6 PM yesterday, VRFA crews assisted by @PugetSoundFire, @Southkingfire, and King County Medic One responded to a structure fire in the 32500 block of 51st Ave S with fire spreading to nearby vegetation. No injuries and cause of the fire is under investigation.

Procession departs Bonney Lake @ 10:45 am and arrives at Christian Faith Center @ 11:55 am

Today we gather to celebrate the life of Deputy Chief Bill Mack who dedicated 31 years to serving our communities. We will honor him with a procession this morning. There will be a PIO on site of Christian Faith to provide interviews at 11:20 but service will be closed to media.

TECHNICAL RESCUE: Crews from VRFA, South King Fire and Puget Sound Fire rescued a child from the cliffside above GameFarm Park in Auburn today. The child was rescued via a technical rope system, suffered minor injuries and was sent to Multicare Hospital for further evaluation.

4 garage units were damaged and the siding to a neighboring apartment. Crews did a great job containing the fire from spreading to neighboring properties and from spreading into the apartment building.

The fire is out. The cause is under investigation.

First arriving crews found heavy fire in a detached garage. All visible fire is out at this time and crews continue to hit hot spots and check for extension.
