Puget Sound Fire responded to a residential fire in the 26200 block of 197 Place SE. firefighters extinguished the garage fire in approximately 30 minutes. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The rope rescue call occurred in the 15700 block of Auburn Black Diamond Road.

Firefighters used the rope system bring the patient topside. The patient was treated by King County Medic One paramedics and transported to a landing zone. The patient was airlifted to a Seattle area hospital.

Firefighters located the patient and began patient treatment while other firefighters, specially trained in technical rescue used a rope system to lower 3 firefighters and a stokes stretcher to bring the patient topside.

Puget Sound Fire responded to a car/semi truck accident in the 22400 block of 83 Avenue South. Firefighters used specialized equipment to remove the driver. The driver was treated for moderate injuries and transported to a nearby hospital.
