Latest results from the EXTEND-IA TNK Investigators. Had the pleasure of working with the team to look at tenecteplase performance in the context of LVOs with concurrent tandem lesions. @GeoffreyDonnan @MBCRMH
According to this study, #tenecteplase is associated with similar rates of intracranial reperfusion, functional outcome, mortality, and symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage compared with alteplase, in patients with acute #stroke due to tandem lesions. https://t.co/xDLrRqpN7c

Interesting (and reassuring) work from the EXTEND-TNK dataset suggesting that alteplase and tenecteplase are associated with similar outcomes in patients with tandem carotid lesions undergoing EVT. @VYogendrakumar
