Imo this is the most level take. Had some really consequential misses last week, but was fairly low on the reasons why we lost. So far he’s been great at “not losing us games”, would love to see him do more outright “winning us games”.
Ok I'll bite. 2 things can be true:.1. Maddux had a poor game vs USF.2. He's still a top 25-30 QB in CFB. I get the theory that he'll regress without Jeanty/DK. Could happen (esp with *maybe?* a weaker WR unit) BUT put me in the camp believing he'll improve this year & in 2026.

Probably a hot take, but I don’t think the loss of Ashton Jeanty hurt us a lot in moving the ball on Thursday. What we missed without him was a playmaker. Looked like everyone was waiting for someone else to be The Guy.
