This animation, featuring data from @loft_lab, showcases tiny brain blood vessels called lenticulostriate arteries, captured using an ultra-powerful 7T MRI scanner. Seeing these vessels helps us better understand and treat small vessel disease in the brain ✌️🧠

Detailed brain scan w/ data from our @loft_lab shows blood flow in a patient w/ grade IV glioblastoma. Using the 7T MRI technique, arterial spin labeling, we can see areas of uneven blood supply within the tumor. Regions w/ higher blood flow likely indicate faster-growing cancer
