In a pooled #GAAINInterrogator analysis, we found that quitting smoking can reduce the risk of MCI and dementia associated with smoking, especially in male participants 🚭. Read more on how early quitting can be even more beneficial:

Recently, @NACCData was updated with neuropathology and CSF biomarker data. Now, we can correlate pathological levels of CSF Abeta, p-tau, and t-tau with Thal phases 4 & 5 and Braak stages V & VI determined from autopsy. Check out updated NACC in GAAIN:

All participants in the IDEAS Study are at least 65 years of age and have either an #MCI or #dementia diagnosis. Using #linearregression, we correlated age and #Centiloid values (=brain amyloid levels) stratified by diagnosis. Explore more IDEAS in GAAIN:.
