People don't/refuse to understand that the car is like 95% of the equation. Take the "worst driver" on the grid and put them in the McLaren and you're looking at a world champion.
I don’t think Max Verstappen is a significant upgrade over George Russell at Mercedes. George is already driving the car to its limit and there isn’t much Max or anyone else can do. Teams would have more success if they paid better for top engineering talent instead.
