To the friends and colleagues who cared about Judy @MzMcKeown and were helped and influenced by her gifts and talents, her funeral is being arranged. Her Mother, the first Ms. McKeown, and I (her sister) hope that it will be LATE NEXT WEEK. Please amplify.
On June 6, 2025, a soul of great beauty left this treacherous earth. Judith McKeown @mzmckeown was a proud Black woman, an educator, a brilliant thought leader, a fearless truthteller, a community organizer, a champion of equity and human rights for all people. #judymckeown

Black girl embraced by her community, has blossomed into a teacher activist. I am never ashamed of the roads I walked, experiences I’ve had and the challenges I’ve faced. I am a product of my environment. I’m proud of that. @AnimaWrites
