Don’t force hip shoulder separation…. (this applies to hitting).
Don't force hip-shoulder separation🗝️. While you can jerk the pelvis open or try to actively hold the trunk closed to cheat separation, the spine is designed to work segmentally. When the trunk can relax, it allows for a smooth unfurling of the whip & higher ball velocity.
