The magnitude of the winning really hit for me yesterday! We've got the Boss and the First Lady back. We've got a great team in place and humming. Now with the OBBB, the policies and funding are locked down and ratified. We are cooking with gas!.

I remember traveling around in Central Europe (Prague, Krakow, Bratislava, Budapest, etc.) in the late 1990s just agog at how much more powerful, and wealthy, and well-organized America seemed to be as compared to these other places. I had no idea how hollow, and fragile, and.
It is a strange feeling to grow up at the height of America’s dominance and to grow old during its decline. Hindsight is just a million “we shouldn’t have done thats,” like an old man who lost everything wondering what went wrong on his deathbed.
