And particularly on that last part: . Because most outlets can't run on adrev alone, they're taking money from the companies that they report on. Not making a conflict of interest argument here, but you should consider cutting out the middleman and getting the bag for yourself.

I learned very quickly that if you want to make a living as a writer/journo, you can't rely on esports alone to make it happen. Explore other spaces that pay a livable wage so you can have one foot in esports and one foot out . And don't discount writing for comms/marketing.
