It feels like because Islam was mostly spread by the sword throughout history, they never developed an effective apologetics system.
Most Muslim evangelization boils down to trying to find contradictions in the Bible and vague appeals to how beautiful and perfect the Quran is.

Maybe the issue is the opposite --- that we're mandating foreign languages too late and for not enough time. Telling a teenager to suddenly care about Spanish for three years at age 14 isn't going to produce long-term bilingualism. Has to start earlier.
i’ve said it before, but it’s absurd that we are still mandating years of foreign language for american HS kids.
for most it’s a monumental waste of time, a neat party trick at best and immediately forgotten upon graduation. we should just let them take electives.
