Every day Labor announces jobs for regional Australia. Every day. Rebuilding regional public sector jobs and massive infrastructure builds. Plus cracking down on dodgy 457 visas. The Deputy PM like his PM lies #LiberalLaunch

An enduring quality about Australian elections is the civility between poll workers from vastly different political perspectives. Hopefully our politics never becomes so vitriolic and shrill that this changes. #NSWVotes2019

.@_esther on a mission to foster policy-literate artists. "If we don't engage with the political system (whether we trust them or not), we cede power to them." 👌

Confronting presentation from @_esther at #shifttemora - despite mega big bucks being spent on glitzy new museums in cap cities, no funding or direction to fund artists. Who is creating the work in tomorrow's exhibitions?

Sharing our experience at @WaggaCouncil creating Date Night - helping working aged people have a memorable cheap date, and fall in love with their local cultural facilities at the same time.

Great lineup of speakers at #shifttemora today. Lindy Hume talking about the role of arts in promoting active citizenship and connected neighbourhoods.

I don't love subsidies either. Better we had a carbon price and let the market decide. But declaring renewables bad because of subsidies is ridiculous. Governments built coal plants. Then there's the negative externality: pollution, a cost passed on to society. Facts matter.

Angus Taylor's appointment signals the complete triumph of hard-right ideology on energy policy, which is sure to guarantee higher power prices, continued investment uncertainty, and rising pollution. #auspol

Australia. We owe you an apology. I’m sorry. You deserve better than many of the things our Federal Parliament has served up to you for the past 10 years. Believe me: there’s a lot of good people on both sides of the chamber and we can do better. Don’t give up. #auspol #shitday

If your basic motivators are protecting inherited privilege and making wealthy people wealthier is it any wonder your Party is destroyed by selfish ambition and vain conceit? #auspol #libspill
