Victoria has the lowest wholesale power prices in the country. Whether by building more large scale renewables, or making it easier for Victorians to install a power station on their roof with a @SolarVictoriaAU rebate, renewables are driving down power bills across the state.

The glorious irony of the Minister who pushed for a ban on new gas connections to Victorian households defending her record on gas! At least @MadeleineMHKing understands the importance of the Australian resource sector… unlike the entire Victorian Labor Government #lovegippsland.
So @MadeleineMHKing is more like a Coalition Minister on radio this morning. How about talking the facts: 1. Qld gas is not doing ‘the heavy lifting’ as it remains a nett importer of Vic gas 2. There is no ban on Vic onshore con. gas exploration. And Vic fixed Iona - not you.

Australia’s longest wooden jetty at Port Germein. As a kid who grew up fishing at Lakes Entrance, I’m a self-confessed ‘wharf rat’ and can’t resist walking on any jetties/piers/wharves when we travel. This one is a beauty. #seeaustraliafirst #lovegippsland

Historic Bathurst has a magnificent carillon, built as a memorial to the fallen, after WW1. Opened in 1933, the former Federal Government provided funding for a major upgrade. Well done to community volunteers for maintaining this memorial in beautiful surroundings. #LestWeForget
