I used to fact-check most online claims before believing them. Now, it’s too much work. New strategy: I just check if the claim exists on Facebook. If so, I automatically assume it's pure BS.

I feel the real problem is that you grew up on a train line. Would even call it child abuse.
I don't recognise the language being spoken on my train anymore. Not a single conversation in English for 40 minutes. I look around and realise I'm the foreigner now. In my own country. On the train line I grew up on. And if I mention this, I'm the problem.

Just kill the Nobel Peace Prize. I have never liked it, as it is inherently political in nature and dilutes the value of Nobel prizes in hard sciences (physics, chemistry etc).

Should also be added that for Khomeini, neither the dog nor human life mattered.
Americans will watch a video of an Afghan family getting murdered by our soldiers and say “They’re probably terrorists” but if the dog is shot, they’ll be upset. Khumayni was right when he said that an American dog’s life is worth more than an Iranian human’s.
