Youth voter turnout played a significant role in Brandon Johnson’s win.
Voters aged 18 to 24 increased their turnout by about 5,000 votes on April 4 compared to February 28, an increase of more than 30 percent.

🚨 BREAKING: A teen girl who was rolled over by a Chicago Police Department squad car in Roseland on May 31 has been identified as 15-year-old Astarte Washington, a 2020 graduate of DuBois Elementary.
