What @sustrans won't tell you is their 'survey' is a checkbox exercise that only contains the things they want to see. 82% of disabled people say cycles on footpaths affect their ability to make journeys, yet that is sustrans entire raison d'etre.
Today sees the launch in Parliament of the Transforming Mobility report. The report’s research was led by Sustrans with @TransportForAll and includes findings from Sustrans’ 2024 survey of 1,107 disabled people across the UK.

This case follows the exact pattern as the Blackwood and Douglas killings - no mention of it in local media and despite police knowing the perpetrator, no arrest. Have the home office been telling the police to allow cyclists to kill pedestrians?.

Whilst this is welcome, it's worth remembering that the killers of John Douglas and Jim Blackwood are still riding around on pavements despite the police knowing their identity. Contrast to the way the CPS went after Auriol Grey, who committed no crime.
