The govt did NOT block a Grooming Gangs Inquiry. It voted against an amendment - attached to the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill - which would have been killed had the vote passed. THAT amendment was added to stir trouble. Inform yourself. Educate yourself. Be smart

@Channel4News @RiaChatter @jamiemroberton Youth work offers a lot more than stopping youth violence (if it can even claim that) or just keeping young people off the streets. This is a reductionist view and we need to talk about the contribution youth work makes to the building of a good society

I hope I see self-reflection instead of people blaming everyone but themselves. Dems threw away the youth vote in 2024 and even worse their future support. Insane that some pundits saw a genocide as some trivial detail and not the conscience of a young person torn and conflicted.
