The speed at which the TikTok I posted last night is currently going viral is wild. Imagine telling someone 10 years ago you could get 150k views in 2 hours because an algorithm picked it up. The dopamine hit from this is real and cannot be mentally healthy.

As an A&R I agree 100%. If I recognize a vocal sample in a demo submission as something I’ve heard on splice or in other tracks, it’s a lot less likely I want to sign the track. Splice is good for some things, but most vox on there are too overused.
