Ryegrass resistant to Glyphosate and Paraquat from Broadacre paddocks becoming more prevalent. We have detected at least 20 samples from all southern states. We first started detecting paraquat resistance about 5 years ago. @WeedSmartAU

If we don't get chemical companies making new MOA'S good luck in a continuous cropping program within Australia with resistant ARG. We need all the tools it the kit bag to fight ARG and other resistant weeds.
Looks good. I think when used correctly, as people get more familiar with product and label requirements, Overwatch will be another chemistry to add to the kit bag. I'm a farmer too, and it is great to have new chemistries and MOA's coming online.

Overwatch IBS sown with JD pro series disc with residue managers. left 990ml right 1.25lt. Higher rate showed small amount of bleaching early. Sown into marginal moisture.

This is another way of showing the effects of boom height on drift. Plenty of farmers are spraying for periods at 75cm. Some self-propelled machines can't go lower than 75cm's. https://t.co/wgw3YBR9bQ
If you apply a tank mix at a rate of 55 L/ha with a medium spray quality at a boom height of 1 m, only 33 L of the spray will hit the ground directly 💧🌱 The target weeds will be exposed to a low rate, reducing the efficacy of the spray job. More ➡️ https://t.co/Dt5s0IOdwQ

Canola working hard ! But I wouldn’t recommend it 🥊🥊🥊 proves it can do it when there is loosely packed soil above the seed!
