Yesterday & today’s rainfall totals. Does anyone wish to guess why it doesn’t want to rain in the Copper Triangle? (Moonta/Wallaroo/Kadina).Doesn’t seem to matter what way the rain system comes from!.Bad luck? Copper allergy? Kadina BOM radar 😜😜?

Ali, in 2024, I GPS’ed 4 individual Gazania plants along a stretch of road. The road has since been resurfaced. Makes me think if they’ve been removed forever, or just spread out further along the road from the roadworks?? 🤔🤔.
No surprise they spread quick 🫣 #Gazanias pretty much on every roundabout in the garden city a.k.a #Toowoomba and next to my hotel in Gatton too. Hence, the #sunshine State has its fare share. I hope they don’t jump the fence here. @CropDoctor54 @WeedSmartAU

Another weed bites the dust!.2 separate populations of Tares, completely resistant to a high rate of Imi. Surprisingly, Logran still has activity! 🤔.Time to adopt more crop types in the rotation & other Big 6 pillars to stop the seed set of the Tares, given their hardseedness.

I haven’t been on this planet for that long, but I can’t ever remember SE’ly winds like we’ve had in the last 15 months. Persistent, strong and relentless. One more knowledgeable gent called them “the drought winds” and he’s probably on the $$.
