As alwasy, the NWS are looking for any info on tornadoes they might have missed on June 28th. If you have photos and videos of brief touch downs, funnels, etc. Send them an email! They are curious about the possible tornadoes after Clear Lake, SD and before Gary , SD and after.

A lot of talk about Gary being compared to Ashby. I think both were incredibly unique and amazing in their own way. I honestly wouldn’t say one was better than the other. Ashby had the most insane lighting I’ve ever seen. While Gary was smooth, had hints of blue and orange hues.

This was the tornado near Gary SD on 6-28-25 as it went past my house.
