All of the cars in this picture are “parked.” Please explain how this benefits the people of this community in any real way? @CarFreeNYC @TransAlt

Ahh another “town hall” by Chancellor Performative where no one is allowed to speak and @NYCSchools officials got to toot their own horns while not answering anyone questions. @DOEChancellor @District5NYC

What a surprise
After Hurricane Ida, Mayor de Blasio released a plan that said NYC would start "preemptively" issuing emergency declarations, travel bans and evacuation orders before forecasted flash floods. Mayor Adams did none of those things ahead of Friday's storm. https://t.co/VecHU4eSpR

If you’re a fan of @CespedesBBQ then you know he coaches 10U Harlem Hellfighters baseball team and he crushes it! He embodies the mission of the HF league in helping kids develop skill and character. Help support the Hellfighters! https://t.co/ojYVQLQc1X

NYC Mayor Eric Adams is a xenophobic bigot: “[Migrants] will destroy NYC. How many of you are organized to stop what they’re doing to us? It’s going to come to your neighborhoods. All of us are going to be impacted. The city we knew we’re about to lose.”

Imagine being such a corrupt politician that you pretend that the victim is the "law enforcement officer" that wrote a ticket to an innocent person for something that he knew they didn't do. #CultureOfCorruption
Imagine being so entitled that you harass a police officer for parking outside his precinct, and actually think you’re the good guy. This ‘cyclist’ should lose his job as a schoolteacher. For the record, in my district the police can park wherever they need to.

Once again, advocates worked tirelessly to preserve funding for our communities, no thanks to trash Adams. Thank you @PeoplesPlanNYC @JFREJNYC #carenotcuts #onetermmayor
NYers & council members fought tirelessly to claw back $ from @NYCMayor for libraries, childcare, housing, senior meals, & CUNY. But we know this final FY24 budget is not enough for our communities. We urge CMs to vote NO. Our statement. #CareNotCuts

There’s the assumption that this was a conservative victory, but understand this, a lot of progressive, liberal, vote blue majority culture folks have long been irked/angered/annoyed about Affirmative Action. Just ask POC (parents, students, counselors) with experience at PWIs

.@ElieNYC on Supreme Court striking down affirmative action in college admissions: "It was a terrible decision on the law, but we all know the real reason why people like John Roberts did it." #TheReidOut

Columbus circle still filled with illegally parked vehicles. @ebottcher Most of the non-TLC vehicles are regulars every day. A confirmation that 100% of enforcement here happens in the morning. https://t.co/cIJTFKkIv9

Why do companies keep making a relatively simple process unnecessarily annoying and complicated? @ExpressScripts 10 days to process and ship my prescription when I could have just walked down the street cutting out local pharmacies also isn’t a great look.

This is the shit that makes my blood boil! So many schools had to cut their art and music programs because of the budget cuts YOU fought for last year. So just save it. Any remaining programs are thanks to creative school leaders and CBOs. #carenotcuts @PeoplesPlanNYC
The arts inspire and fill our souls—they are an essential part of a well-rounded education. Our city is the cultural hub of the world, and that’s part of what makes going to school in New York so special. We’re committed to bringing that power and inspiration to our students.
