I was at Candlestick w/ my Dad and my stepmom was downtown. That day/night was unforgettable. Remember all so well. Even consideration of moving remainder of games to SoCal. Glad they waited- Bay Area deserved it.

OTD: 10/16/85 Jack Clark hits a go-ahead 3-run homer at Dodger Stadium in the 9th inning. The Cardinals would hold the Dodgers scoreless in the back half of the inning to win the pennant and head to the World Series.
