On 30.9.2025, 🇨🇭Embassy observed Court of Appeals' ruling to confirm the 2-year prison sentence of democratically elected Member of 🇹🇭House of Representatives Chonthicha Jangrew @LookkateChonth1 over her 2021 speech. She was released on bail pending appeal at the Supreme Court.
Yesterday, the🇨🇭Embassy witnessed the judgement pronounced against the democratically elected Member of the 🇹🇭 House of Representatives Chonthicha Jangrew @LookkateChonth1. The court sentenced her to 2 years in prison for a speech. She was released on bail pending her appeal.
