The difference between men and women always shows in how they handle loyalty and accountability. I once met a guy who told me the most bizarre story of abandonment ever. Like their dad threw all 7 of them out and they had to live on the streets for weeks cos their dad told

Am sure that the the media will report this with the same enthusiasm as they announced the detentions.
Four men, including three doctors, detained in connection with the Delhi Red Fort blast, have been released by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) after investigators found no concrete link connecting them to Dr. Umar Un Nabi, whom authorities believe to be the main

Do you guys think foster Dim Sum is shaped weirdly? Idk if it communicates well in these photos, but I feel like her proportions are odd. She looks like a baby version of an adult cat rather than just big kitten. We think she’s about 4 months old. I love looking at her.

book clubs are nice and cute for those who can afford books and come from communities/families where book reading has been inculcated. In addition to book clubs (and clean air), Delhi needs its #PublicLibraries to serve the 30 million+ residents 24 x 7 cc @FreeLibNetwork
Delhi’s air might be unbreathable, but its reading culture isn’t. Across parks and gardens, silent book clubs are transforming the lonely act of reading into something quietly communal https://t.co/2X5R9Dps6A

Also, two of my friends offered to pay for two students. So if you know someone who can benefit from that, connect them to me!

In 2021, I defended a sanitary pad campaign that used flowers to represent vulvas. For that, I am now fined RM8,000 under Section 233(1)(a). If you believe women shouldn’t be punished for talking about our own bodies, I’m asking for your help. Donate. Share. Stand with us.

When I was in law school, I became increasingly uncomfortable with how many legal events revolved around excessive alcohol consumption. I made a Facebook post expressing that I preferred not to attend events where alcohol was served. Unprompted, the (former) head of a prominent

Two months ago, Alice Wong gave me seed money for a podcast I’d pitched about disability and media. I didn’t even ask for money! She required no stipulations, just total trust in me. It didn’t seem real. She had been supporting the project since with advice and connections 1/

Alice Wong had a breathing tube and could not mask. She also couldn't skip in-person visits due to her conditions. She would ask doctors to mask, and was told "We don't do that anymore." She ultimately died of "an infection" while at the hospital while COVID is surging again.
Absolutely zero mention of COVID or Gaza in the NYT obituary for @SFdirewolf, just a completely whitewashed version of her legacy. Pitiful

This is crazy! I have seen students from my department doing experiments going home at 5/6 am in the morning. Graduate students are not doing a 9-5 job that requires them punching in their hours.
The decision by one Dept at IISc to police students using RFID is the worst thing one can do to creative people. This is meant for prisoners, not researchers. Most people in the scientific profession are self-motivated and do not need policing https://t.co/90pz591G22

Disability rights activist Alice Wong has died at age 51. She was a remarkable human who also happened to love cats. Rest in power, dear woman. @SFdirewolf

I’d bet nearly any amount of money that widespread vaccines for “common” “benign” viruses would cause a large swath of hard to predict ancient illnesses to simply disappear
Stanford Medicine investigators and their colleagues have found that one of humanity’s most ubiquitous infectious pathogens bears the blame for lupus, the chronic autoimmune condition. https://t.co/bqFmVLYT3h

It's such an indictment of the status quo that two literal CHILDREN built a searchable database of affordable housing because the grownups who run the government didn't think to do it https://t.co/hIX7T76Y3B

Two “children of the pandemic” did something the grown-ups who run the city have never managed to do.
