The 1987 Brewers won 13 straight to start the season. Six of those wins came against the Rangers. The Rangers started the season 1-10 that year including the home opener, 11-8, to the Brewers. Wrecked their season before April was even over.
A couple of '87 Brewers will be following along tonight as the '25 Brewers try to win a 14th consecutive game, which would break the franchise record. Including the club's No. 1 fan. "I would be perfectly happy if they never lost another game this year," Robin Yount said.

Mike. Vida Blue made 46 starts in 1970-71. He had a 1.85 ERA and averaged 7.8 innings per start. Skenes averages 5.8 innings per start. I struggle with that.
Wrote about Paul Skenes . who has 1.99 ERA career ERA in his first 46 GS . which is the lowest in Live Ball era. Feels like we're kind of just acting like that's normal. (Fun fact: He's allowed a .574 OPS in his *losses.* It is the lowest ever.). -->

I had to do a double-,take when I saw this Carl Eller tweet about him being in the Hall Of Fame. I was like. wasn't he elected long ago?. Yeah. 21 years ago. He and Deacon Jones were two badass ferocious defensive ends from that era. Nothing wrong with a tweet reminding us.

It is not the freaking space station. Get your facts right for once. I was the one who named it. The International Space Station!.
What people don’t know is that Rangers ownership decided the people who report on the team should sit higher up than all but (literally) 12 rows of seats. Give Kennedi some slack, she’s reporting from the freakin space station.
